Cameron Boyce's family and friends — including Sofia Carson, China Anne McClain and Victor Boyce — paid tribute to the late actor, who died in 2019, on what would've been his 25th birthday on May 28.

Sofia Carson, who starred in the Disney Channel movie series The Descendants with Cameron, shared a darkly-lit photo of him on her Instagram Stories, writing over it, “Our Angel.” Her mom, Kiya Cole, also paid tribute to Cameron and shared a compilation of videos of him dancing and smiling, writing in the caption, "Happy 25th Birthday @thecameronboyce ! When the gala was first kicked off in 2022, Cameron's father Victor told PEOPLE that his son "didn't want presents" on his birthday when he was alive, and the annual event honors that.
