Prolific soap opera writer and actress Meg Bennett has sadly passed away. Known for roles in The Young & The Restless and General Hospital, the

“ Helen Margaret Bennett, known throughout her professional career on stage and screen as ‘Meg,’ lost her battle with cancer on April 11th 2024. Meg got her start starring in soap opera Search For Tomorrow in 1975, just a few years before landing the role of Julia Martin on The Young & The Restless. She leaves behind Sunset Beach co-creator husband Robert Guza, Jr., whom she married in 2004, as well as “two step-daughters and four adored grandchildren, along with a brother and sister and a bevy of nieces and nephews.”
