Snoop Dogg Remembers Bond With Queen Elizabeth II: ‘That Was My Girl’

Snoop Dogg discussed his bond with Queen Elizabeth II during a recent interview filmed in London.

In a recent interview with England’s Capital FM, held during afternoon tea at London’s Mandarin Oriental, the rapper reflected on his long-time connection to Queen Elizabeth II. “When they tried to kick me out of England, the Queen made a comment that her grandbabies loved Snoop Doggy Dogg, and he had done no wrong in the U.K., so she gave me permission to be here,” the rapper told The Guardian in 2015. Although the LP does not yet have an official release date, he told North it was expected in “November or December.” The rapper previously confirmed that Dr. Dre was producing the music.
