With breakdancing making its debut as an Olympic competition in Paris, it’s only right that Snoop Dogg hit the stage to kick off the festivities on Friday (Aug. 9). Team USA’s Sunny Choi and Logan Edra went head-to-head with dancers from France, Ukraine, Japan, Lithuania, the Netherlands and more. The 52-year-old isn’t taking the opportunity for granted as he hopes his success as a correspondent will inspire NBC to continue thinking outside the box when it comes to Olympic coverage in the future.
