Then the sketch took a turn, with Lord Gaga freaking out at the mere concept of a wife making more money than her husband. At that point, Jost — whose wife has been named one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood — acknowledged the meta commentary by turning slowly to face the camera, with the audience laughing on as Day continued his incredulous rant.
