SNL star Beck Bennett to make his DC Studios debut in James Gunn's highly-anticipated Superman remake
Beck Bennett is set to make his movie debut on director James Gunn 's first DC film, Superman. The SNL alum, 39, will act as a reporter for the movie's news channel The Daily Planet.
Various other DC superheroes are set to make a cameo in the film with Edi Gathegi as playing Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho and Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. The outlet reports that the star-studded cast will include Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner and María Gabriela de Faría as playing The Engineer. He joined the Saturday Night Live cast back in 2013 and starred on the show for eight years before parting ways in 2021; Michael Che and Beck Bennett seen in 2021
