SNL accused of being anti-British with dig at Aimee Lou Wood's teeth - as writers are blasted for using a 'tired trope' in 'unfunny' skit that 'made no sense'

For weeks, Aimee's teeth have been a hot topic of discussion, with the actress admitting the conversation has been fuelled by Americans watching The White Lotus.

Fellow chat show guest Stephen Fry praised the actress for not succumbing to peer pressure and changing her smile, noting: 'All the roles you've played that I've seen you in, [your teeth have] actually enhanced'. The actor, 53, raved that the skit was a 'SMASHING' success, and he included a message for Jon Hamm, who appeared in the sketch as Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Since then, fans have even noticed that the two stars no longer follow each other on Instagram, and Walton appeared to have tagged several of his co-stars in behind-the-scenes photos he posted from the series — except for Aimee, whom he shared many of his scenes with.
