Snail Mail Finally Releases Smashing Pumpkins Cover From ‘I Saw the TV Glow’

Snail Mail has shared her cover of the Smashing Pumpkins classic 'Tonight Tonight,' originally recorded for the film 'I Saw the TV Glow.'

In a statement, Jordan explained that she and her band had already been working on the cover for their live set before Schoenbrun cast her in the film. That four-song set featured a few early versions of songs off her celebrated 2021 LP Valentine, plus a new tune, “Easy Thing.” Snail Mail will embark on a short tour next month, starting Aug. 26 at the Prescott Parks Art Festival in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
