Slipknot announces 25th anniversary tour across US and Europe with band returning to their hometown for Knotfest 2024
The highly acclaimed nu metal band Slipknot will be celebrating the anniversary of their first album on the road.
The band will kick off the first leg of the US shows on August 6 in Indiana and give their final performance at this year's Knotfest Iowa music festival on September 21 Crahan, Joey Jordison, Anders Colsefni, Donnie Steele, Josh 'Gnar' Brainard and Paul Gray founded Slipknot in Des Moines back in 1995. However, by the time they departed, current members Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson, and Jim Root had joined the band.
