“It was definitely a surprise role when they came to me with the Aurora reboot,” Samuels, 30, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, August 6, while promoting her new Hallmark rom-com, My Dreams of You. “And I think our director, my dear friend and work wife, Jessica Harmon, did such a great job kind of coming up with a tone that felt new and familiar at the same time. Candace Cameron Bure, Lacey Chabert, Alison Sweeney and Holly Robinson Peete are just some of the names that have had their own movie series on the network over the years.
