Skylar Astin To Host Tony Award Simulcast At Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park – Update
A Tony Awards simulcast event will take place outdoors at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park during the awards ceremony on June 16.
“As someone who has a special place in their heart for theater and the arts – with my roots as a Broadway performer – the opportunity to host the American Express simulcast is truly meaningful,” said Astin in a statement. According American Express, “the event will give attendees an opportunity to partake in Broadway’s most prestigious awards ceremony through various onsite activations and photo moments.” This year’s Tonys will be held for the first time at the Koch Theater, and due to reduced seating (compared to previous venues like Radio City Music Hall), the small number of tickets for the general public will not be available.
