Sitges-Bound Horror Film ‘1978’ Picked Up by Black Mandala (EXCLUSIVE)
Sitges and Scremfest-bound horror film '1978' is picked up for sales by New Zealand's Black Mandala.
They turn out to be part of a macabre cult guided by an unknown supernatural force and the secret jail will become hell itself. The film a multi-star cast that includes Agustín Pardella (Oscar-nominated film “Society of the Snow”), Carlos Portaluppi (Oscar nominated “Argentina 1985” – Oscar nominated), Mario Alarcón (Oscar-winner “The Secret in Their Eyes”), Agustin Olcese (“What the Waters Left Behind”), Jorge Lorenzo (“El Marginal”), Santiago Ríos (“Tumberos”), Gustavo Bonfigli (“Wild Tales”), Paula Silva (“Virus 32”) and Gustavo Pardi (“El Marginal”). A work-in-progress version of the film previously played at the Cannes Market’s Blood Window Showcase.
