25 years after Sister, Sister ended its run on TV, Tamera Mowry reunited with former co-star Jackée Harry at the 16th annual A Pink Pump Affair in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
The event is the signature spring fundraiser and awards show for the Special Needs Network, a non-profit geared at 'responding to the crisis of autism and other developmental disabilities in underserved communities,' according to the organization's website. Some of the other celebrities and high-profile people to lend their support fpr the event includes Oscar Madrigal, Rahel Mengiste-Cook, Bonnie Berry LaMon, Spencer Gil Martin, Alicia Sutton Jones, Curren Price, Tenise Taylor, Pat Harvey, Alva Adams-Mason, Galina Sobolev, Carol Powell Lexing, Sonjia White, Robi Reed, Charis Michelsen, Jo-An Turman, Natasha Blasick, Kym Whitle, Councilwoman Heather J. Hutt, Vanessa Bell-Calloway, Dr. Anshu Batra, Michael Jett and Katrina Manning, among many others. By confronting structural racism, anti-Black bias, and other forms of systemic disparities, SNN works to impact public policy while providing education and resources to individuals with special needs and their families.
