EXCLUSIVE: Oscar winner Sissy Spacek has been tapped for a recurring role opposite stars Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate in FX ‘s limited series Dying for Sex. Written by Liz Meriwether and Kim Rosenstock based on the hit Wondery podcast, Dying for Sex is the story of Molly (Williams), a woman diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer who leaves her husband of 15 years and begins to explore her sexuality. Headland executive produces along with Meriwether’s longtime collaborator Katherine Pope, Nikki Boyer, host and co-creator of the Dying for Sex podcast, and Wondery’s Jen Sargent, Marshall Lewy, Aaron Hart and Hernan Lopez.
