Sir Lenny Henry is beaming as he attends the inaugural Sky Arts Awards with his partner Lisa Makin to present the Lifetime Achievement gong


The comedian, 66, stepped out for the ceremony at Camden's Roundhouse on Tuesday to award broadcasting legend Melvyn Bragg the honour.

Sir Lenny Henry beamed as he attended the inaugural Sky Arts Awards in Camden on Tuesday with his wife Lisa Makin to present the Lifetime Achievement gong Tuesday's ceremony saw a host of incredible performances, including a rendition of their hit I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness - who were joined on stage by Jim Moir, aka Vic Reeves. The audience were also treated to a performance from Welsh songwriter and rapper Rem, who went viral for his politically charged and impactful lyrics, as well as a dance number from award-winning group Boy Blue, as well as opera and pop music.
