It's most actors' dream to be considered a National Treasure but Sir Ian McKellen has rejected the title given to him and said it is directed more towards his Lord of the Rings character, Gandalf, than it is about him. The Shakespeare veteran, 85, explained how his much-loved roles, including Magneto from the X-Men series, have eclipsed his real-life persona; pictured as Ga Ian joined Simon Marks on his Greatest Hits Radio Drivetime show where he discussed the time frame he's given himself before returning to the world of theatre.
