Sir Ian McKellen pulls out of national theatre tour completely after horror fall off stage


xpressed his deep regret at having to follow medical advice and pull out from the national tour of Player Kings due to a recent injury, stating it's with "the greatest reluctance" he does so to ensure he fully recovers. The esteemed actor, 85, suffered a horror fall during a performance at the Noel Coward Theatre after he lost his footing in a fight scene.

Sir Ian McKellen has expressed his deep regret at having to follow medical advice and pull out from the national tour of Player Kings due to a recent injury, stating it's with "the greatest reluctance" he does so to ensure he fully recovers. A statement read: “Following Ian McKellen’s injury during the West End run of Player Kings, his doctors’ advice is to take time off from work in order to fully recover. Semark trained at the Royal Academy Of Dramatic Art (Rada) and has credits in TV shows including EastEnders, Doctors, Law & Order UK and The Bill.
