Sir Elton John reveals a 'higher power' is looking over him after previously helping him through 'drug addiction, depression and loneliness' after revealing he has lost his sight


The singer, 77, explained that he doesn't believe in a 'biblical God too much' but instead believes that there is a spirit watching over him.

He appeared Good Morning America alongside his husband David Furnish on Wednesday to chat with Robin Roberts about his life, career and the personal challenges featured in his new documentary. Updating fans on his condition, the Rocket Man singer explained that as a result of his eye infection he can't see, read or watch anything and is having to step back from his career And after being rocket by the news, Sir Elton has since reflected on his legacy and is now putting more time in to his family, which includes sons Zachary, 13, and Elijah, 11, and husband David Furnish
