Sinead O'Connor's estate and record label slammed Donald Trump's campaign for using "Nothing Compares 2 U" during recent campaign events.

“Throughout her life, it is well known that Sinéad O’Connor lived by a fierce moral code defined by honesty, kindness, fairness, and decency towards her fellow human beings. It was with outrage therefore that we learned that Donald Trump has been using her iconic performance of ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ at his political rallies,” reads the joint statement shared with Billboard on Monday (March 4). In addition to calling the twice-impeached former president a “biblical devil” in an interview with Hot Press in 2020, she told the publication that she was convinced Trump was “actually a Satanist,” and that he should have been “dragged” out of the White House when he “separated the first child from their parents at the Mexican border.”
