Sinead O’Connor’s Cause of Death Revealed 5 Months After Her Death
Five months after iconic Irish singer Sinead O’Connor passed away at age 56, her cause of death has been confirmed by an autopsy report.

It was her 1990 release, “I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got,” that catapulted her to superstardom, thanks in large part to her unforgettable rendition of Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U,” which topped charts worldwide and earned her four Grammy nominations, including “Record of the Year.” After a controversial 1992 appearance on Saturday Night Live, which included her ripping up a photo of Pope John Paul II in protest of the Catholic Church’s sexual abuse scandals, O’Connor’s career took a major hit.
