Simu Liu Speaks On Possible Return As Shang-Chi In ‘Spider-Man 4’

Is Shang-Chi finally making his grand return to the MCU? Simu Liu breaks silence on the possibility of appearing in the upcoming Spider-Man 4.

But with the Russo Brothers being brought on to helm the newly reworked Avengers: Doomsday, there was some hope progress would be made on a sequel….until Marvel revealed Cretton would be directing Spider-Man 4, all but condemning Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi to cameo roles for a long time to come. The one glimmer of hope fans have is that, given Destin Daniel Cretton is the director for Spider-Man 4, it’s possible that Shang-Chi appears to play a supporting role. While the actor will certainly make his return sometime during Avengers: Doomsday, it’ll be interesting to see if he plays some sort of role in Spider-Man 4, especially given how close the projects release to one another.
