Simone Ashley's role in Brad Pitt's upcoming F1 movie 'didn't make the final cut', director Joseph Kosinski explains
The Bridgerton star, 30, who was cast in the film in 2024, was seen at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone Circuit last year when filming took place, but her role was being kept under wraps.
F1, set to be released on June 27, has been in the works for years as Brad has been seen in Sin City, Abu Dhabi and Texas to meet drivers and film scenes. The anticipated feature is directed by Joseph, who also helmed Top Gun: Maverick starring Tom Cruise - and is set to premiere in theaters in June 2025. After initially being excluded from the Season 4 cast list, it was unclear whether fan favourite Simone (Kate Bridgerton) would return, but the actress confirmed in an interview with Glamour she will be back.
