Simon Kinberg is in talks to produce a new 'Star Trek' movie at Paramount
Deadline first reported the project with Toby Haynes directing with Seth Grahame-Smith handing the screenplay. Plot details are being kept under wraps but sources say the film will be an origin story the project is an origin story that takes place decades before the 2009 Star Trek film that rebooted the franchise. Kinberg is best known for producing such box office hits as The Martian and the first two Deadpool movies.
