Simon Cowell attracted a lot of attention on social media after his appearance on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway show - with fans asking 'what happened?'
The TV personality and judge appeared on the opening episode of the series as part of the show's Undercover segment, which sees Ant and Dec play tricks on fellow celebs. Taking it all in his stride, the keen cyclist, who required major surgery after breaking his back in a cycling accident in 2020, laughed along and said he totally "fell for it". Simon had no idea the 'policeman' was an actor employed by Ant and DecAnt said: 'We love making Saturday Night Takeaway, but reaching the milestone of 20 series seemed like the perfect time to pause for a little while and catch our breath".
