Silvio Soldini's 'The Tasters' about German women forced to taste Hitler’s Food, has scored a raft of sales at the EFM.

Vision Distribution has closed deals for dozens of territories on the German-language drama starring Germany’s Elisa Schlott (“Das Boot” TV series), Max Riemelt (“Sleeping Dog”) and Alma Hasun (“Corsage”), which will open Italy’s Bari International Festival next month. “The Tasters,” which is based on bestselling book “At the Wolf’s Table” by Italian author Rosella Postorino, has been picked up by CDI for most Latin American territories and by Pandora for Brazil. “The Tasters” is produced by Milan-based Lionello Cerri’s Lumière & Co. in co-production with Belgium’s Tarantula and Switzerland’s Tellfilm and IDM Film Commission.
