Silverchair star Daniel Johns has listed his $3m Newcastle home that he bought aged 17.
Silverchair rocker Daniel Johns is set to make a huge profit on the very first home he purchased at the tender age of 17 for just $360,000. Writing about Silverchair's demise in their newly-released joint memoir, the pair claimed Daniel put them on an 'emotional rollercoaster' by breaking up the band multiple times - only to then change his mind. While Johns never explicitly said the band was breaking up, Gillies and Joannou were later informed by their manager it was over and that a press release announcing their 'indefinite hiatus' would be going out to the media.
