Sika Anoa'i, WWE Hall of Fame Legend and Roman Reigns' Father, Dead at 79

Pro wrestler Sika Anoa'i, part of the famed Wild Samoans tag team and Roman Reigns' dad, died Tuesday at age 79.

Anoa'i -- best known to fans as Sika and as part of the famed tag team The Wild Samoans -- is the father of current WWE superstar Roman Reigns. "He was a cherished friend to many, a loving family member whose warmth and kindness knew no bounds, and an inspiration to countless individuals," the memorial post expressed. Sika -- who wrestled in smaller circuits in the 1970s -- debuted in the WWE (then WWF) in 1980 as part of the iconic tag team The Wild Samoans, alongside his older brother, Afa Anoa'i.
