Sigourney Weaver Says Baby Yoda Is the Reason ‘Why I Did’ ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’: ‘He’s a Little Badass’
Sigourney Weaver says Grogu, otherwise known as Baby Yoda, is the reason why she signed on for "The Mandalorian & Grogu."
In January 2024, Lucasfilm unveiled the Disney+ series spinoff starring Pedro Pascal as the titular bounty hunter known as “The Mandalorian” and his adorable sidekick Grogu. “I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created,” Favreau said in a statement upon the film’s announcement. Other than Pascal and Weaver, the only other major cast member to be revealed is Jeremy Allen White, who will play the son of iconic “Star Wars” evildoer Jabba the Hutt.
