She’s headed “back to Genovia” with director Adele Lim.
Anne Hathaway shared a video on Instagram that opens with a screenshot of a Variety article reporting that Adele Lim will direct the threequel. “As a diehard fan of the original Princess Diaries, I’m beyond excited to be a part of bringing the third iteration of this beloved franchise to life,” Lim said in a statement to Variety. “We look forward to celebrating its core tenants of female power, joy and mentorship with audiences worldwide.” As previously reported, Debra Martin Chase (who worked on the first two films) will produce.
