Shrek and 500 Days of Summer star Jean-Paul Vignon dies age 89 after cancer battle
Actor Jean-Paul Vignon, who starred in Shrek and 500 Days of Summer, has passed away at the age of 89 after a battle with liver cancer - his heartbroken family have shared
Jean-Paul was best known for the voice of one of the Merry Men in Shrek and for narrating the comedy movie 500 Days of Summer, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel. The US actor launched his career in France during the 50s when he performed as part of a cabaret in Paris and secured roles in several French movies. The star also played a supporting role in the World War II film The Devil’s Brigade and hosted the Canadian show The Sensuous Man.
