He has left CAA, his longtime manager Ken Kamins at Key Creatives, and his attorney David Fox. He is the attorney for Tom Cruise, with whom McQuarrie has been a regular collaborator on the Mission: Impossible blockbuster films. He joined CAA around the time that he scripted Valkyrie, the Cruise vehicle directed by Bryan Singer.
