Shock update in Tory Lanez's health after he was stabbed 14 times in jail
The musician, 32, suffered severe injuries after he was stabbed 14 times in a Tehachapi-based California Correctional institution early Monday.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation disclosed that Casio was sentenced to six years after he assaulted a prisoner with a deadly weapon or force likely to cause great bodily injury. In the sentencing, Judge David Herriford said that the positive portrait Lanez's relatives and friends had painted in their testimony in the trial was 'difficult to reconcile' with his actions toward Megan. Prosecutors spoke positively of Megan for her fortitude in coming forward amid online hate and mockery aimed at her over the incident involving Lanez.
