Sheryl Lee Ralph, Tony Hale Sign On to Announce 76th Emmy Nominations on July 17
Emmy winners Sheryl Lee Ralph and Tony Hale will announce this year's Emmy nominations, live on July 17, at 8:30 a.m. PT from the El Capitan Theatre.
“Great television relies on the contributions of so many, and we are delighted to have Tony and Sheryl help us acknowledge excellence across our field as we embark on a season of tremendous celebration.” As for Ralph, she won the outstanding supporting actress in a comedy Emmy in 2022 for ABC’s “Abbott Elementary.” She also landed a Critics Choice Award for the show, and a Golden Globe nomination. Ralph has received five NAACP Image Award nominations for her work in over 100 episodes of UPN’s “Moesha,” while her other credits include Nickelodeon’s “Instant Mom,” Showtime’s “Ray Donovan,” CBS’s Designing Women, HBO’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show” and the syndicated “It’s a Living.” Ralph is next on the big screen in the comedy “The Fabulous Four,” with Bette Midler, Susan Sarandon and Megan Mullally.
