Sheryl Crow was honored at the 2024 Grammys on the Hill Awards alongside Sens. John Cornyn and Amy Klobuchar on April 30.
Artists who attended Advocacy Day included Patti Austin, Lauren Daigle, Kenyon Dixon, Sara Gazarek, J. Ivy, Rapsody, Mark Ronson, and Leon Thomas III. Recording Academy leadership present included CEO Harvey Mason jr., president Panos A. Panay, chief advocacy & public policy officer Todd Dupler, and chair of the board of trustees Tammy Hurt. Recently, Crow has been vocal about the threat that AI presents to music creators, including on her new song “Evolution,” which grapples with the future impact of artificial intelligence on humanity and the planet.
