Shawn Mendes Delays Upcoming LP to ‘Bring New Ideas to Life’

Shawn Mendes has announced he will delay the release of his forthcoming album, 'Shawn,' to Nov. 15.

Mendes first revealed his intention to release Shawn in July, debuting the album’s first song “Isn’t That Enough.” Shawn was recorded over the past two years after Mendes canceled his Wonder world tour in order to focus on his mental health, with the singer laying down tracks in a wide variety of studios including Nosara in Costa Rica, Clubhouse Studio in Rhinebeck, New York, Bear Creek Studio in Washington State, Darkhorse Recordings in Nashville, and New York City’s Electric Lady. The singer scheduled several intimate theater concerts around the release of Shawn, where he has been playing the new album in full.
