Shawn Hatosy Teases Reid and Voight’s ‘Chicago P.D.’ Battle Will ‘Blow Up’
Shawn Hatosy joined ‘Chicago P.D.’ for season 12, playing Deputy Chief Charlie Reid
During the Wednesday, March 5, episode of Chicago P.D., Reid implements a Violence Reduction Initiative and enlists Voight’s Intelligence Team to help monitor a gang-infested neighborhood. “It sort of tests the relationship, and Hank has to face the fact that he’s dealing with somebody that is gonna go and do something because he has dirt on somebody else,” Hatosy, 49, explained of the cat-and-mouse game Reid and Voight are playing. Reid obtaining a search warrant in a suspicious manner raises eyebrows for Voight and “puts things in motion” for him to “go down the rabbit hole and see who this guy is,” Hatosy added.
