Sharon Vuong Named Interim Unscripted Competition Head At NBCU Following Corie Henson’s Exit
This follows the departure of Corie Henson
Vuong, who is EVP, Alternative Programming & Development, will lead the team that oversees series such as America’s Got Talent and The Voice. She has spearheaded development and current on unscripted formats including reality competition, talent competition, and game shows across NBCU’s Entertainment portfolio, which to date has included NBC, Peacock and the cable networks, although some of this will change with SpinCo taking on cable nets such as E! Vuong joined from CBS, where she was SVP, Alternative Programming and worked on series including Survivor, The Amazing Race, Big Brother and Undercover Boss.
