Sharon Stone Says America Is ‘Naive and Ignorant and Arrogant’ After Donald Trump Win: ‘My Country Is in the Midst of Adolescence’
Sharon Stone is speaking out against the Americans who voted to put Donald Trump back into office.
While the jury is still out on whether the Oscar nominee will leave the U.S. now that Trump has been voted back into office, Stone did recently appear at Italy’s Torino Film Festival (via USA Today) and blasted “ignorant” and “arrogant” Americans for the election outcome. Earlier in the festival, Alec Baldwin appeared to present a screening of his 1990 movie “The Hunt for Red October” and told press that “Americans are very uninformed about reality, what’s really going on,” he said. Back in July, Stone told The Daily Mail that she “considering” buying a house in Italy if Trump won the election because “this is one of the first times in my life that I’ve actually seen anyone running for office on a platform of hate and oppression.’
