Sharon Stone is SUED for $35,000 for 'causing car crash' in Los Angeles


Sharon Stone, best known for her role as Catherine Tramell in the 1992 movie Basic Instincts, is being sued by a woman for $35,000 for an alleged car crash she caused in Los Angeles last year.

The actress, best known for her role as Catherine Tramell in the 1992 movie Basic Instincts, has been accused of causing a car crash that injured Amanda Godepski. Godepski filed a motor vehicle complaint with the Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, April 24, according to documents obtained by People Magazine. Stone's conduct infringed upon at least three California vehicle regulations, including driving too fast for the traffic, making hazardous turns, and changing lanes, per court documents.
