Sharon Horgan to Star In and Exec Produce New HBO Comedy About a Divorcee; Seals New First-Look Deal
Sharon Horgan will star in and executive produce a new HBO comedy about a divorcee; she also sealed a new first-look deal.
The deal with Horgan, who’s behind series including “Pulling,” “Catastrophe,” “Motherland” and “Amandaland” (in addition to “Bad Sisters”) began earlier this month. This brings Horgan back into the HBO fold; she previously created the pay cabler’s series “Divorce,” starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church. “I’m so happy to once again be working with Casey, Amy, Francesca and the team at HBO, and really excited that Merman get to continue to tell stories for a company that’s been home to some of the most iconic television shows ever created.,” Horgan said in a statement.
