Shannen Doherty's Mom Rosa Sends Message to Actress' Fans After Her Death

'Beverly Hills, 90210' and 'Charmed' star Shannen Doherty died on Saturday, July 13. She was 53.

On Monday, just two days after the loss of her daughter, Rosa Doherty remembered the late actress for the first time in a statement to People. ET confirmed that the Charmed star died on Saturday when her longtime publicist, Leslie Sloane, stated that Shannen "lost her battle with cancer." The statement continued, "The devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend was surrounded by her loved ones as well as her dog, Bowie.
