Shakira Kicks Off U.S. Tour With Alejandro Sanz & Wyclef Jean As Surprise Guests
Shakira launched the U.S. leg of her tour in Charlotte, N.C., with a sold-out show featuring surprise guests Alejandro Sanz and Wyclef Jean.
Global superstar Shakira performed to a sold-out crowd at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., on Tuesday (May 13), kicking off the U.S. leg of her successful Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The Colombian icon surprised the audience with two special guests on stage: Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz, with whom she performed their ultra-passionate collaboration “La Tortura,” and rapper Wyclef Jean, with whom she revived their No. The North American stretch of the tour will bring the superstar to major cities across the U.S. and Canada, including Montreal, Toronto, Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas before wrapping up on June 30 in San Francisco.
