Shakira discusses 'rebuilding' her life following split from ex Gerard Piqué as she releases first album in seven years: 'The glue that kept it all together was music'

Speaking to The Times newspaper, Shakira said of the album: '[It's] the transformation of pain into creativity, frustration into productivity, anger into passion, vulnerability into resilience. Speaking to The Times newspaper, Shakira said: ''There were so many pieces of my life that crumbled in front of my eyes and I had to rebuild myself in a way, picking up the bones from the floor and putting them all together. The Burnley-born actor, whose first role was as a child model for Marks & Spencer when he was ten, is deemed to be the perfect age to play Bond and is among the names tipped to take over from Daniel Craig .
