Shah Rukh Khan & Sons To Voice Hindi Version Of ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’
Shah Rukh Khan will voice Mufasa in the Hindi version of Barry Jenkins’ Mufasa: The Lion King, which releases in India on December 20.
“Mufasa has an incredible legacy and stands as the ultimate king of the jungle, imparting his wisdom to his son, Simba,” Khan said. Blending live-action with photoreal computer-generated imagery, Mufasa: The Lion King stars Aaron Pierre, Kelvin Harrison Jr., John Kani, Seth Rogen, Billy Eichner, Donald Glover and Thandiwe Newton. Mufasa: The Lion King enlists Rafiki to relay the legend of the unlikely rise of the beloved king of the Pride Lands, introducing an orphaned cub called Mufasa, a sympathetic lion named Taka — the heir to a to a royal bloodline — and their journey alongside an extraordinary group of misfits.
