Shaboozey Celebrates ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ Hitting No. 1 on Hot 100: ‘Take a Double Shot of Whiskey 4 Me’
Shaboozey notched his first Billboard Hot 100 chart topper with “A Bar Song (Tipsy)," and the star took to social media to celebrate.
Shaboozey at the 2024 BET Awards at Peacock Theater on June 30, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. He is the second Black artist overall to achieve the feat – following Beyoncé with “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Shaboozey was featured on Bey’s Cowboy Carter album earlier this year, on “SPAGHETTII” and “SWEET HONEY BUCKIIN’.” He told Billboard back in May: “What I loved about [the] Beyoncé album is the inspiration and the influence that she had are probably the same as mine.
