Seth Rogen’s Joke About Donald Trump At Breakthrough Prize Cut Out Of Awards Show Following Livestream
Seth Rogen presented at the 2025 Breakthrough Prize ceremony and joked about Donald Trump, but the remark was edited out following the live stream.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, which sponsored the event, Rogen said, “It’s amazing that others in this room underwrote electing a man who, in the last week, single-handedly destroyed all of American science. In a recent interview for Esquire, the actor shared why he thinks Trump won the presidential election. That’s not to say it doesn’t have very real and troubling ramifications on many people’s lives, but I try to maintain hope that the ball will roll onwards, even though it might be wobbling back and forth.”
