Seth Meyers slammed J. D. Vance and other Republicans for their 'incendiary conspiracies and lies' about the cause of the Trump assassination attempt.
“What we don’t need are the opportunistic purveyors of paranoia, suspicion and fear who have already rushed to fill the void with incendiary conspiracy theories and lies,” he continued, before cutting to coverage of the assassination on various news programs. “The premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs,” Vance wrote on X on Saturday. “Schools, shopping malls, grocery stores, movie theaters, houses of worship and now political rallies have all been infected by this scourge of everyday violence.
