Seth Meyers Renews ‘Late Night’ Hosting Deal Through 2028
Seth Meyers has renewed his deal with NBCUniversal and will continue hosting 'Late Night' through 2028.
The extension comes months after the renowned writer and comedian hit his 10-year anniversary as host; “ Late Night With Seth Meyers ” first launched in February 2014. Meyers’ production company, Sethmaker Shoemeyers, has also extended its deal with Universal Studio Group to produce content across NBCUniversal platforms. In 2006, he was promoted to head writer and anchor of “Weekend Update.” Meyers’ other prominent credits include keynoting the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, hosting the Emmys in 2014 and the Golden Globes in 2018, and producing the films “Hot Rod” and “MacGruber.” In 2018, he returned to “Saturday Night Live” to host an episode.
