Serena Williams Enters The Avatar State In ‘The Last Airbender’ Spot
Tennis great Serena Williams is taking her game to the next level with the help of The Avatar. Watch Williams in a 30-second spot touting Avatar: The Last Airbender.
“Benders” are people that have the ability to telekinetically manipulate and control the element corresponding to their nation, using gestures based on Chinese martial arts. Gordon Cormier (Aang), Kiawentiio (Katara), Ian Ousley (Sokka) and Dallas Liu (Prince Zuko) lead the cast of the series which premieres February 22 on Netflix. Alongside Kim, Rideback’s Dan Lin ( The Lego Movie, Aladdin) and Lindsey Liberatore ( Walker) and Jabbar Raisani serve as executive producers as well as Michael Goi ( Swamp Thing, American Horror Story).
