When the Wizards of Waverly Place alum brought the hitmaker as her date to the 2024 Primetime Emmys, they sat by the two actors during the ceremony. Gomez posted photos from the gathering — including a couple of the newly minted author’s cake replica of his book — and wrote that she was “so proud.” He also gushed about his romance with the “Single Soon” singer on the show, telling hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, “I wake up every day, and I look in the mirror, and I’m like, ‘How did this happen?’ But until anyone figures it out, whee!”
